Today, July 4, is a holiday in the United States, celebrating Independence Day. On this day in 1776, the patriots signed the “Declaration of Independence” officially separating from the tyrannical English government of king George.
America was to become “the land of the free, and the home of the brave”, one nation under God. God will have His way in this nation that was dedicated to Him, but every generation needs to pray and work for that cause. As Christian patriots, we are grateful to live here, and are rededicating our nation to God.
He is moving in the hearts and lives of His people around the world, and His righteousness will be triumphant in all the earth. All we who truly follow Jesus will let His light shine through us for the glory of God, bringing eternal fruit for His kingdom. This is an exceedingly wonderful day to be alive.
