Looking out the window this morning, I was fascinated by the shadows sharply delineating the hillside path. I became curious to find the branches projecting these shadows.
Success, branches discovered! By this time the shadow has progressed.
Meanwhile, my wife Marla was clearing off the blanket of leaves covering the ground on the tiered ledges. She later explained she was concerned about the birds having access this winter to the worms they need for food.
While I was taking photos of branches, she was busy helping birds that perch on the branches!
