New Appreciation for Valentine’s Day

I am starting to appreciate Valentine’s day more these days. On this day in 2007, my son-in-law Derrick proposed to my younger daughter Karine overlooking the Golden Gate bridge. Now eleven years later, as I recently walked toward the birthday card section in Rite-Aid (great store for cards) to select something for my wife of 49 years, a card on the end display caught the corner of my eye. Upon examining it, I saw I needed to look no further, even though it was a Valentine’s Day card instead of a birthday card. It was so appropriate that I decided it could serve both purposes. Here is the card that I am happy to share.
